Phantom CS Cervical Blades with Blunt edge are made of aluminum and are used to retract tissue in the cervical approach to the spine. The aluminum material makes these blades radiolucent under X-Ray or fluoroscopy. Blunt blades are used for longitudinal retraction to prevent nicking or tearing of the esophagus. For optimal visualization, use these Cervical Blades with Blunt edge in conjunction with Phantom CS Discectomy Blades to create four-way retraction. A light channel within the blade is designed for use with TeDan Surgical's light source (ML-0051) and light cables, illuminating the surgical site and eliminating the need for headlamps.
